From the moment you enter the wrought iron gates, you feel at home in Regency Cove. Quiet safe streets are dotted with palms and tropical foliage. Well-maintained homes line the boulevards.
We are an active 55+ waterfront gated community on Old Tampa Bay. We cover 45 acres, with 410 homes and 16 apartments. Our common areas include a spacious club house, heated pool, spa, shuffleboard courts, boat docks and trailer storage area, and a picnic area. There are many activities to keep you busy: billiards, bingo, an exercise room and classes, line dancing classes, golf and bowling leagues, fishing and planned social events.
Enjoy the beautiful Florida evenings as you walk our well lit streets to Sunset Point, to relax with neighbors on the benches and swings. Many homeowners are able to enjoy sunsets right from their front doors on waterfront homes that line Old Tampa Bay.
There are 52 docks in the park. The Association owns 15 docks that are rented to shareholders. Boat size is restricted to 26 feet or smaller. The dock fees are $400 annually, but will increase to $500 in January 2009. This covers maintenance, water, and electrical power for most of the docks.
The Marina and Storage Committee, chaired by Ed Bedore (Board member) consists of Mike Ross, Bill Hilliard, and Ron Jeffries.
The public fish cleaning station that was replaced within the last few years, serves as a public pier in the park overlooking our peaceful Pirate’s Cove.
The 35 spaces in the storage area are reserved for shareholders who are residents for a minimum of 90 days. The storage lot is free.
The public fish cleaning station allows you to filet your catch and discard waste before you even bring them home.
Catch of the Day
Many of the guys feel that the dock area is their most favorite place to be. They help their neighbors when help is needed... giving a tow, or putting in a boat.
